July 22 – Chevron Manhattan Beach Grand Prix

The 57th Annual Chevron Manhattan Beach Grand Prix July 22, 2018. Will be held at Live Oak Park in Manhattan Beach. There are several categories including a kids race that starts at noon.
Concerts in Pollywog Park

Manhattan Beach Concerts at the Park has several dates and bands. This fun tradition is free and is at Pollywog Park. It’s a great venue for families, friends and picnics. Opening bands are 3:45-4:30 and the headlining band go on at around 5pm.

The 51st Annual Tournament is held at Live Oak Park Tennis Courts and Mira Costa Tennis Courts and finals at Manhattan Country Club.
August 1-5 – International Surf Festival / http://www.surffestival.org/
The event promotes the four South Bay beach cities, the world’s best lifeguard service, and physical fitness for thousands of participants. Participants range in age from 8 years old to the late 80’s. The three signature events for the festival are the Judge Taplin Lifeguard Medley Relay, the Dwight Crum Pier-to-Pier Swim, and the Charley Saikley 6-Man Volleyball Tournament. Other great events include a surfing contest, bodysurfing contest, beach run, paddleboard races, dory race, and youth events. The festival has hosted numerous international lifeguard teams including teams from Victoria, Australia.
August 3-4 – 6-Man Volleyball Tournament

Hermosa Beach Concert Series
