Once again, the very active South Bay charity season is about to kick-off. I look forward to these great events each year as they seem to keep getting bigger and better and all support very deserving local charities, started by good friends of mine. So without further adieu, here is the run-down….
Thursday April 23rd– 6:30pm-9:30pm
The 6th Annual “Cocktails for a Cause “benefiting Kids Play Intl. Join 3x Olympian, Tracy Evans, along with The Irish Girls, and several other Olympic athletes, for a fun night of wine tasting, music, appetizers and a great silent auction at, a new location this year, the Belamar Hotel in Manhattan Beach. Friday May 30th – Grades of Green’s Annual Verte 2015
Once again this party will be held at the MBS Media Campus and will feature a cocktail reception with Patron tequila Bars, margarita bikes and a photo booth, an amazing silent auction a great sit down dinner and dancing to the sounds of Manhattan Beach’s own, Joe’s Band. Saturday June 13th – 21st Annual Manhattan Beach Wine Auction benefiting the Manhattan Beach Education Foundation.
Mark your calendars as tickets go on sale on May 1st at www.manhattanwineauction.com and usually sell out within hours. Grab your friends for a fun night of wine tasting under the stars at the Manhattan Beach Country Club.
Saturday July 18th– The 9th Annual “White Light White Night” Party benefiting another fabulous charity, Walk with Sally.
This is a special evening with over 1500 South Bay locals dressed in their finest white attire enjoying a “Taste of the Southbay” , cocktails by Patron and winetasting by Uncorked, a great silent auction and dancing to the sounds of Super Diamond all while benefiting, Walk with Sally.
