First off on February 20th is the “Networking Matters” event sponsored by the Bank of Manhattan. This event in its’ 4th year, brings together over 250 local professionals for a fun night of networking, eating and drinking all while benefiting two local charities, the Toberman Neighborhood Center and the Peninsula Seniors. The event will be held at the recently renovated, Manhattan Country Club from 6:00-9:00 PM. For more information and to purchase tickets, go to www.LAnetworkingmatters.com.
Another great charity event coming up on Saturday, February 23rd at The Knights of Columbus Hall in Manhattan Beach from 6:30-11:00 is the 5th Annual Mulligan Fundraiser benefiting the St. Sebastian Sports Project. Come join us for Dinner, Drinks, Entertainment and an Auction while raising much needed funds to support sports opportunities for Catholic inner-city youth. To purchase tickets, please go to www.saintsebastianproject.org .
Finally, on April 11th at the Bel Air Bay Club in the Pacific Palisades is the Grades of Green, “Verte 2013” honoring Kevin Reilly, Chairman of Entertainment for Fox Broadcasting Company. This will be a really fun night in a fabulous setting over-looking the Pacific Ocean with cocktails, dinner and live entertainment. Grades of Green was founded in Manhattan Beach three years ago by four of my girlfriends and today they are in 4 countries, 26 states and over 165 schools. How cool is that? Their mission is to inspire and empower kids and the broader school community to care for the environment. This years’ Verte 2013 is going to be a very special night. Tickets are available at www.GradesofGreen.org.
I hope to see you at all of these fabulous events benefiting three very deserving local charities!
Cheers!
Molly
