We are very sad to see our favorite local café in Manhattan Beach go so soon. My go to item was the Border Crossing Bowl and Tom’s fave was the Hunni Burger! For the next 7 days of this “bittersweet” final week I am going to attempt to paint a picture in words detailing the highlights (and low lights) of my more memorable stories. So here goes: Nugget #1: in the past 3 years we’ve served 28, 891 Honey Lavender Latte. It’s true. I have this super nifty POS system that can search specific sales records in a few short key strokes. By my modest calculations I personally poured over 20K of these babies myself. Nugget #2: Can you say ‘Best Breakfast Burrito’ in the entire South Bay. How do I know that? Not only am I told they are THE BEST every single day, but we’ve pumped out 37, 314 of these bad boys and the momentum keeps building.
